X-Band RHCP TX 2×2 Antenna
X-Band RHCP TX 2×2 Antenna
CSA-X-002-RH is a COTS 2x2 X-band array covering the full 8025 to 8500 MHz, 100 MHz wider than the core EO downlink allocation, for missions operating across or above that segment. Typical gain is 9 dBic RHCP with 2 to 3 dB axial ratio, 2:1 VSWR and 20 W power handling, in an 89 x 89 x 14 mm array at 145 g. TRL 9, qualified to NASA GEVS with humidity testing per MIL-STD-810 Method 507.6.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The wider coverage suits missions with secondary downlink allocations at the top of the band, missions whose licensing position is not yet settled, and constellations needing one qualified antenna across several regulatory regimes rather than a part number per market. Gain is 8 to 10 dBic across the full 475 MHz span with axial ratio between 2 and 3 dB, VSWR at 2:1 and 20 W power handling through an SMA female interface. The array measures 89 x 89 x 14 mm (3.5 x 3.5 x 0.55 in) at 145 g. Designed for high-throughput downlink applications in harsh space environments, the array is well suited to LEO, MEO and GEO missions. Qualification follows NASA GEVS (GSFC-STD-7000) with random vibration to 14.1 GRMS, humidity per MIL-STD-810 Method 507.6, and a -70 to +100 °C operating and storage range. ATH-X-002-RH is the matching test hat, and also serves the switched-beam module CSA-X-003-RH.
