Insertion loss is 0.3 dB typical with 30 dB of DC-to-RF isolation, rated to 50 V and 500 mA. TRL 8, qualified to NASA GEVS, 40 g in a 36 x 30 x 15 mm sealed housing rated for a ten-year LEO mission life.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Three GHz of continuous coverage from 1000 to 4000 MHz allows one part number to bias the L-band GNSS antennas, the S-band TT&C antennas and their associated LNAs across this catalogue. Insertion loss is 0.3 dB typical and 0.4 dB maximum on the RF path, against 30 dB of DC-to-RF isolation. Ratings of 50 V and 500 mA leave substantial headroom over the 4.5 to 12 VDC and 25 to 75 mA the active antennas in this range actually draw. All components are passive, so radiation hardness and single event effects are not applicable. Interfaces are SMA female throughout. Built for the harsh conditions of space, the sealed housing incorporates a venting mechanism and is rated for a ten-year LEO mission life. Qualification is to NASA GEVS (GSFC-STD-7000) with random vibration to 14.1 GRMS and humidity per MIL-STD-810 Method 507.6, across a -70 to +100 °C operating and storage range. The unit measures 36 x 30 x 15 mm (1.4 x 1.2 x 0.6 in) at 40 g.
