K/Ka-Band Dual-Port Waveguide Probe
HA-KKA-003 is a COTS dual-port K/Ka-band open-ended waveguide probe covering 17 to 30 GHz, with RHCP and LHCP on separate 2.92 mm female ports. Gain is 6 to 10 dBic across a 60 to 70 degree half-power beamwidth, and power handling is 20 W CW, the highest in this horn family. At 55 g in a 54 x 20 x 20 mm body it suits near-field scanning, aperture probing and confined test fixtures.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The wide beamwidth is what makes close-range measurement practical. A high-gain horn illuminates a narrow spot and forces a longer standoff, whereas a broad probe pattern allows the measurement to be taken close to the article without truncating the pattern. Gain is 6 dBic minimum and 10 dBic typical across the full 17 to 30 GHz span, with 10 dB directivity and 2:1 VSWR. Power handling of 20 W CW also allows the probe to serve as a transmit launcher in a bench link. The probe is machined for durability in laboratory use, rated -40 to +85 °C, at 54 x 20 x 20 mm (2.14 x 0.77 x 0.77 in) and 55 g, the smallest K/Ka article in this range. HA-KKA-001 and HA-KKA-002 are the 15 and 20 dBic horn configurations for range work. Custom probe geometries, gains and interfaces are available on request.
